Importer Notes: A Piedmontese treasure, where the nobile Barolo wine is infused with medicinal herbs and sweetened with cane sugar to provide a remarkable after dinner digestivo.
Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo (Barolo DOCG)
Winemaking: After the Barolo is made and aged to its legal minimum of 3 years it is then infused with a house blend of herbs including cloves, rhubarb, mint and cinnamon. Cane sugar is then added to balance the herbal bitterness.
Tasting Notes: Aromatic, herbal, complex and light sweetness.
Pairings: After dinner or on ice as an aperitivo.
