Importer Notes: A single vineyard Barolo grown in the historic Campo dei Buoi Vineyard. Located directly on the backside of the CDB estate this is a vineyard that has been tended to since before Luigi Arnulfo purchased the property in 1874.
Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo
Vineyard: Bussia Cru, Vigna Campo dei Buoi (1 hectare).
Vine Age: 15-25 years.
Altitude: 250-350 MASL
Winemaking: 30 months aging in large Slavonian oak (5000l).
Tasting Notes: Dried roses. Mature and complex.
Pairings: Game meats and mature cheeses.
