Importer Notes:  The Muscat family is large and Moscato Giallo (Goldmuskateller/Yellow Muscat) is native to Northern Italy.  It is different than the popular Moscato Bianco used for the frizzante Moscato d’Asti and can display depth and sapidity along with its lush aromatic appeal.  

Grapes:  100% Moscato Giallo

Farming:  Sustainable

Vineyard:  Vineyards in Appiano.

Vine Age:  10-20 years

Altitude:  400-450 MASL

Soil:  Alluvial.

Winemaking:  Fermentation and aging in stainless steel.

Tasting Notes:  Intense aromas of nutmeg and sage.  Bright acidity, dry finish.

Pairings:  Pumpkin ravioli.
