Corey Nyman
Labor Wines
From a young age, founder of Labor Wines, Corey Nyman was immersed in food and beverage culture as his father was an executive chef turned restaurant consultant. Responsible for launching many five star establishments around the country Corey learned from his father the art of nuance and aesthetics, which later parlayed into his love for wine. With an affinity for the Pacific Northwest and Oregon wine country he romanticized for many years about making his own Pinot Noir and in 2009 it became a reality.
He has formed relationships with several growers of the Willamette Valley who farm unique plots in the Yamhill-Carlton & Chehalem Mountains sub – AVA’s. Over the years he has expanded to bottle four different wines from several appellations, but still maintains micro production averaging 125 cases per wine. Actively managing the family consulting business this project is undoubtedly a labor of love that gives rise to some soulful wines.
