Grapes: 90% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) 10% Canaiolo Nero & Mammolo
Farming: Practicing Organic
Vine Age: 30-60 years
Altitude: 350 MASL
Soil: Limestone, clay, pebbles, shells & sand.
Winemaking: Two years in mixed oak barrels. 60 & Slavonian (25hl) & 40% French (225l). Six-twelve months in bottle.
Tasting Notes: Violets, dried cherry & earth. Silky tannins, bright acidity. Persistent, with well integrated oak.
Pairings: Grilled meats & aged cheese.
