Importer Notes:  Single vineyard Chardonnay from vineyards in Oslavia on the border of Slovenia. 

Grapes:  100% Chardonnay

Farming:  Sustainable

Vineyard:  Gmajne

Vine Age:  25 years

Soil:  Ponca (marl-sandstone).

Winemaking:  Native yeast fermentation in Slavonian oak (60hl).  Aged 1 year in barrel.  Six months in bottle before release.

Tasting Notes:  Dried fruit, light vanilla & stones.

Pairings:  Frico (or any crunchy snack based on bread and cheese).
