Importer Notes: Torbato is a native grape to the Aegean basin near Greece. It arrived in Northern Sardegna around 1370 during the Catalan denomination. “Cento Gemme” or 100 Gems is in reference to the 100 Torbato buds originally grafted to form the 11 hectares they have planted of it.

Soil: Sandstone, calcareous.
Winemaking: Charmat Method.
Tasting Notes: White flower, bitter almond and mineral notes.
Pairings: Pane Carasau (thin twice baked bread served with meat & cheese).
