Importer Notes: “Puer Apuliae” or “Son of Puglia” is a single vineyard bottling of an almost forgotten clonal selection of Nero di Troia known for its small berries, oily skin and high concentration.

Grapes:  100% Nero Di Troia

Vineyard:  Tarfuri ( Located in Murgia Hills). 

Farming:  Sustainable

Vine Age:  25 years

Altitude:  250 MASL

Soil:  Calcareous

Winemaking:   Fermentation in stainless steel, 20 day maceration.  14 months in new French oak (225l).

Tasting Notes:  Dark berry, anise, spice.  Intense, complex and persistent.

Pairings:  Brascioli.
