Farming: Sustainable
Vineyard: A blend of select vineyards in Appiano.
Vine Age: 15-32 years
Altitude: 420-600 MASL
Soil: Gravelly with limestone.
Winemaking: Fermentation, malolactic and aging in French Oak (225l & 500l). Blended after one year, then 6 months of integration in stainless steel.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of apple and pear, subtle vanilla. Toasty, creamy up front with a nervy backbone. Savory and persistent.
Pairings: Fish, risotto, herbed pesto.
