Importer Notes: Vigna Soccorso exists at one of the highest elevations in Montalcino. Noted as one of the first vineyards to produce and label Brunello the label on the bottle is the original used by Riccardo Paccagnini in 1870. The Riserva is a rare bottling only made in the best vintages.

Soil: Volcanic rock, stone and sand.
Winemaking: Native yeast fermentation in barrel, 20 day maceration. 3.5 – 4 years in Slavonian oak (10hl & 40hl). Unfined/unfiltered. Produced with minimal SO2 additions. Two years in the bottle.
Production: 85 cases
Tasting Notes: Black cherries, leather, baking spice & coffee. Vinous, complex & engaging.
