Grapes:  100% Sangiovese Grosso

Farming:  Organic

Vineyard:  Poggio Cerrino & Cigaletta

Vine Age:  25-40 years

Altitude:  350 MASL

Soil:  Schist, galestro, sandy clay.

Winemaking:  Native yeast fermentation in Slavonian oak with 20 day maceration.  Aged 1 year in Slavonian oak (10hl & 40 hl).  Unfined/ unfiltered.  Minimal sulphur additions.

Production:  800 cases

Tasting Notes:  Potting soil, iron and earth.

Pairings:  Pici al sugo di lepre.
