San Silvestro

Dating back to the late 1800s the Sartirano family has been rooted in Piemonte working with only local varieties.  The newest generation is led by Paolo & Guido Sartirano who produce an array of Piedmontese wines that begin with their 7 hectare property in Novello.   Their production stretches to neighboring appellations thanks to their long standing growing partner relationships that have been in place for several decades.  Much of their focus is on Barolo and Barbera with the remainder spreading through Gavi, Alta Langhe,  Dolcetto d’Alba and Barbaresco.  The Sartiranos emphasize the native varieties with a youthful, ready to drink winemaking style.
