With the closest proximity to the sea in Bolgheri, diligent soil management and organic viticulture, TLC integrates finesse among their hearty Bordeaux style blends.  In the land of the “Super Tuscan” it’s easy to get lost in power and oak, yet balance and terroir are the emphasis here. 

 

The dynamic duo of Lorenzo Bernini (agronomist) and Luigi Temperini (enologist) work together in harnessing 64 hectares of majestic coastal vineyards at Tenuta Le Colonne.  To support the vitality of their vines they encourage deep roots,  micro-organisms and micro-oxygenation in the soil.  From the vineyard to the bottle they guide their grapes with little intervention to express the land.  Native yeasts, sand/gravel soils and varying exposures all contribute to these savory seaside gems.
